EuroSense Network
A Europe-wide citizen science network that wants to make the voices of European citizens heard by activists, policy makers and governments.
By understanding the experiences of citizens in public life, and the pulse of Europe, we will overcome polarisation and collectively tackle the challenges of our times such as climate change, inequality, immigration, democracy and security.

By collecting stories using our Sense Making Tool you can make voices from your community heard across Europe in an easy and effortless way.
The stories and their data can also be used to understand emerging issues and identify what matters to the people and communities you care for.
We can provide support in the Sense Making process, which will give you the basis for local action and policy influencing.

We generate a large amount of micro-narratives (stories) that are interpreted by the people themselves using a set of questions, indicators and pictures (data about the stories). From people’s interpretation data, patterns and issues can be studied and filtered across different dimensions. An important aspect in sensemaking is to take an interest in outliers, stories that do not fit the pattern. These can point at the emerging future, at current “blind spots” of community activists, policy and decision-makers.
